watching this after seeing the announced closure and the dismantling of the rides already. So sad! I spent so much time there in its heyday - with family, taking my son, going with friends and even on dates! It was just the place to go back then. The last time I went must have been maybe 15 years ago and I was so shocked at the state of the place we never went back although every time I drove past I would remember the noise and smells and excitement. Aspro say they invested £25 million but that obviously isn't much for a large park like this. So sad seeing its decline as it used to be packed!

Without being rude, have you been on megaphobia in 2022? Granted it was awesome. Unfortunately 2022 it’s definitely not riding with its usual grace. It’s more like a bucking bronco
There’s no way I could ride it 7 times this year.
Please Oakwood it’s time for some TLC

I went to this Theme park nearly 22 years ago, I did go on Bounce.

Definitely want to go but it's 4.5 hours each way in the car 🚗 long way for one day!!!

I went yesterday for the night as I was camping in the area ( 45 minutes away ) so we booked the trip with my family and it was a amazing time but t I would say the bob sled is not worth the time I waited for ( 2 hours ) but if you go on later in the day it’s better and shorter que.

On rollercoasters I would say my fave was megaphobia as it was my first ride eves at Oakwood and the second time I went on was at sunset and the views were beautiful.! 🤩 speed is also worth waiting for as it’s a good enjoyable ride to go on and it became my 9 year old brothers favourite ride at the park and we would go again but it would only be if we are in the area or camping and I live 4 hours away or longer.

skull rock and moonlanding are my favourite i have been on all apart from bounce because it was closed

Just came back from a school trip here, gotta say megaphobia was my favourite I also stole a branch from treetops, bounce was back and drenched was down😢
