Thank you so much for this simple little trick to loosen the diaphragm on the Kazoo! I was getting so frustrated that my kazoos only responded on a very limited range of frequencies, but this remedy solves the problem.

I love the kazoo, and I've been playing for 2 months.
The only problem is, my alluminum kazoo tends to get really raspy, and normally I just take the membrane out and put it back in.
It brings back the clean sound, but after a week or 2 it still gets raspy again.
Is there a way to fix that?
