Muramasa is a highly efficient, yet comfortable adjustable safety razor that allows shavers to choose the preferred shaving setting (smooth or aggressive) by simply turning the razor dial. Due to its precise adjustable mechanism and superior construction quality, it provides a custom shave ideal for both wet shaving beginners and experts.

Our patent-pending gives a wide range of adjustment
through the sliding base plate mechanism
which causes the base plates to slide apart or together
when the razor is adjusted by the user. When
the dial is turned, the blade gap and blade exposure
are adjusted simultaneously, therefore, providing a
customized solution for every skin and hair length.
The handle is designed using a twisted dimple pattern
which enlarges towards the head of the razor
for a better grip while mimicking the idea of an adjustable
razor. The compact design was developed
to avoid blade chatter and blade rattle known to
cause nicks and cuts.

The Muramasa is 100% produced in Portugal, CNC
machined in AISI 316L high-grade stainless steel,
hand finished and sandblasted, in order to give the
beautiful final effect to a high-quality product.

Lastly, and thanks to customer feedback, the Muramasa
has a small head to reach more difficult facial
areas and covered blade tabs to improve user safety.

Nice razor but priced a bit on the high side for me. Also, what about storing the key? Just 1 more small part a lot of people will end up misplacing. What about the ability to store it in the optional base stand? Surround the outer circumference of the base stand underside with about 1/4" of rubber to aid with stability and carve out an indentation in the center of the underside for storing the key. Just a thought.

I'm actually from the city where these razors are made and i never understood why they were so expensive, the prices that they're asking are certainly for the international market. I've never tried any of the Tatara's razors before but i've heard very good things about them and i'm sure that they make excellent razors but let's be honest here the average joe wouldn't want to spend over 100€ on a safety razors when there are so many good razors under 40€

So this is a six piece razor?!?
Handle, cap, split base plate = 2 parts, an additional piece that attaches the two base plates and a screw driver type tool?!?
Five different settings but doesn't adjust the blade angle?!?

Yes it's a beautiful razor but with only five adjustment settings and extraneous amounts of parts and a tool as well... I think I'll pass on this one.

I hope that one of the many wet shaving YouTubers out there will pick up this razor and do a thorough review of it.

So there's my initial impressions based solely on this advertisement.
