Want to hear something crazy? I first discovered the song Driver’s High back in 2004. Since then I’ve listened to it thousands of times. The song is a core memory of my adolescence. Twenty years later, I am only just NOW discovering that Driver’s High was the intro to an anime! I always thought it was just a cool song from a foreign band!

Onizuka was my big brother, i always looked up tp him and wanted to live as freely as he does, it does come with lots of struggles since its all about living the way you want instead of conformity.
Now im 32, i ve been to many places, met alots of people from different backgrounds, had lots of relationships, recently ive started my own business and also working on another life long project on the side, still single and still enjoying my life at the fullest and cant wait for what happens next !

So i became a teacher myself inspired by onizuka.
Edit: woah just checked my comment after 8months and yes I became a teacher, college professor to be exact.
Edit 2: for those people who still doubts me, its ok there is no way I can prove this to you and to be honest why would I prove it. but just wanna ask is being a college professor really that "Impossible" for you not to believe a random dude on the internet? its not like I'm claiming I ascended to a higher human being like superman or something.

아무것도 모르던 중학생시절, 강한밀물처럼 밀려들어오는 일본문화들 속에서, 이 오프닝을 보고 충격에 빠졌던 내가 기억난다. 그때부터 이 영상을 보고 느낀 강한 감정을 이유로 애니메이터의 꿈을 꾸었고 관련대학에 재수해서 졸업후 애니메이터가 되었다.
