Sweet....Stanton already on pace for 324 homers!! I'll cut him a break though, and hope for maybe 150.

I have a feeling Stanton will hit 70 plus homeruns.

Wow I actually hit a HR in a player lock game with Stanton in his first Yankees AB against Toronto in The Show 18 the day before he actually did it! That's crazy lol!

I would’ve preferred a “Giancarlo hits it a Stan-TON”.

We all knew Clippard was not gonna have a scoreless inning.

With a team like this. Opposing pitchers will be under extreme pressure. And hitters.

Not a pinstripe fan but do like the announcer's quip - 'Stantonian'...fitting for Giancarlo's power...somebody in these comments has criticized his batting technique/mechanics - Stanton has probably spent the majority of his baseball experience fine-tuning that slightly odd but very effective short swing....maybe the large muscle mass gets in the way of a traditional full swing. Growing into that body had to take quite a few adjustments to handle the speed of pitches...sacrificing pretty mechanics for speed and efficiency...look at Hunter Pence's swing - makes me laugh...or Vlad Guerrero's - he was all over the place! At least Giancarlo isn't practically falling down every time he swings!

Here are my American League championship Predictions : Astros VS Yankees in the ALCS ... Astros 4 to Yankees 3 in 2018 why ? Because the Yankees do have a powerful, monster line up with Stanton and judge being their monster hitters they need at least one more season to get that chemistry, and Astros at this time have a one, two, three, four punch plus been playing together for at least one or two seasons, plus some heavy ass hitters, so I don't see Yankees dethroning them this year, however, 2019 i see Yankees and Astros again but Yankees taking that one .... be prepared to have the Yanks it Astros dominate the American League for years to come, given that both teams stay healthy
