I recently did three panels on my Ender 5 with some left over perfectly “broken” plexiglass that just happened to fit perfectly. I’ve wanted to build something on my own. Thanks for a peek at the end result

Great! Can you explain which components are running directly on 48V and how your Powersupply is distributed?

when i received my fysetc HV5160‘s there was a sticker laying on them saying „48V and 24V must be powered on at the same time, otherwise the driver will burn out!“ - i don‘t know if it‘s just the fysetc ones, but would that be a problem in your build?

Man, this is such an insanely gorgeous, professional and industrial setup. Looks like a dream to work with. I hate to ask how much this has set you back, whether MSRP or estimated street value. I can't imagine it's affordable either way. Do you have a walkthrough about the build, though? If not, and if you decided to make one, could you offer suggestions to hobbyists vs professionals?

how does it connect the 48v? what is triggering the relay? what happens to the already 24v being supplied?

Very clean! Very professional looking.

How did toy manage to get klipperscreen in portrait/vertical format? All the documents say only landscape/horizontal is supported.

Hi Mirage, I wanted to ask you if you still use the system of removing power from the 5160s and reactivating it with homing, or if you have changed the system and keep the power always on, thanks

What a neat idea switching off the 48V when not needed.
So on idle, you only supply 5V to the logic?
No need for a Schottky diode between Vmot and Vio like the Watterott Protector?

Hi, do the power supplies support serial connection? Or how did you get the 48v?

I like what you did with the glass (or plastic?). I saw the Acid Bee enclosure over on Thingiverse, but it looks much more impressive in action.

And do you have a wiring diagram for your printer?

Not sure if I need TMC5160s, although my 590mm x 590mm bed tends to drive the ball screws down on their own. So, maybe... The X & Y axis are using the Teknic Clearpath servos. They should be just fine. :)

BTW, I'm on the forum as "Rootboy". :)

Why is it a problem when they get hot while doing nothing, but when they move it's fine? Shouldnt they be hotter while moving the steppers? Is it just for increasing the lifespan or is there a potential fire hazard or similiar? Don't they have integraded temperature shut down? I was thinking of upgrading to TMC5160, but this problem seems to be some sort of a downer for me.
