lol! You sound like my husband! He would have said the same thing with the potato bugs. And I would have said the same thing your wife said. 😜 My potato plants are just starting to flower. I had no idea about mounding on them as they grew. Guess what I’m doing soon now lol!

😂 you're hilarious, I like your slightly off kilter sense of humor.
😆 make cinnamon rolls or bread, use the rinsed and dried bugs instead of raisins 😉
Or, make chili and instead of beans, which are extra protein use the clean bugs. 🙄
Hmm, I wonder if they taste like potatoes since they were eating potato plants, do they count as both a vegetable and a meat? 🤔🤔
