The real value of 10000 in 1990 as of today in 2023 as per inflation calculator is 9, 93, 000 Rs ..so basically if you have invested near 10 lac rupes in today value back in 1990 you would have earned 1.5 crores...and fact is even today when people are so rich can't invest so much in a single share...even when we have so much of market knowledge...an equity options is also popular for return but the era of 1990 it was a paper notes, zero transparency, bull & bear cartel run by Harshad Mehta and Manu and India was in deep economic crises due to lost of forex reserve
