Rumba Guaguanco is the most popular type of folk drum, vocal and dance culture of Cuba, Puerto Rico and New York City. Performed by a group of three drummers on congas. One solos on Quinto and two keep the rhythm on Conga and Tumbadora. Also used are Clave 3-2, Chekere, and a Palito pattern played with wood sticks and Bombo drums.
