Ordered this online. I hope it replaces my Kenwood Ddx376BT. Since the Kenwood was installed I have had nothing but issues. Sent unit to a Kenwood authorized repair center twice, now shipping for third and final time. For those wondering why, I will set clock and settings. All will be fine then unit resets to default settings, going from 6 days without resetting to everyday going to default. Rewired twice. I've installed a pioneer 1/2 din stereo and zero issues, which is why I've ordered AVH-1550NEX. Kenwood lost a customer is all I can say.

I can't decide if I want this or the DMH-1500NEX. I don't use HD radio, and not really needing a front camera... the DMH-1500NEX has a 7" screen which is nice and slightly bigger...

I have had a 4200NEX with maestro rr for 2 years. It failed last week, apparently detachable faceplates get phantom touches from the shock of going off-road.

After installing the factory RES130S I decided to give the AVH-1500NEX a try. The vendor I bought the failed 4200nex from.gave me a $150.00.gift card.
So that helped.

Any tips on where to locate the maestro Rr ? I had mine behind the right center HVAC tube.

Was the 4000NEX series prone to failure ?

Question about the AV inputs. Is it possible to use both AV inputs, both the 3.5mm Jack and RCA? Or only one or those!

Do u know if da jvc kw-v250bt needs a brake bypass to use da dvd or can I just ground it like my old radio.. Am not a pioneer guy but I like seeing ur vids

Are you sure the 1550nex has HD radio? I could not find the info on pioneer website. Im still trying to figure out if that is the main difference from the 1500nex

Can you watch car play youtube videos while the car is in motion or does that feed off the parking break dvd set up as well?
