Hi. In this video we look at what is Runway Visual Range. We see how and where the RVR is measured along a runway and also look at the instruments that are used. We also look at different RVR minima values for CAT 1, CAT 2 and CAT 3. We also see the meaning of Rollout Guidance. We see which RVRs are required for these operations and also look at what is Reported/Relevant and Controlling RVR.

Hasnt CAT A, B, C been removed since long. It is Cat 3 with DH and without DH now. 😅😅

Okay, so what will haben in CAT 3c, when the plane has Rollout Guidance but the sight ist below 50 meters?

Then no landing is possible?
