he was saying that the resolution is terrible and keeps comparing it to "high end macs" while the flag ship mac books air resolution clocks in at exactly 1366x768 (the same as this laptops)

Just bought one for 399, upgraded ram to 8gb, upgraded HD to Hybrid SSHD, and its running really well, getting up to 6 hours battery life. The screen is fine, yes it could be better for this price its fine. The touch is great and I fixed the touchpad by using Synaptics universal driver and playing with the settings, its 100% better than using the HP drivers. I really think its the best i3 laptop for the money.

the newer version has the skylake core i3 and 6gb of ram, still all of the pros and cons mentioned in this video are accurate
got mine on sale for $350, definitely worth it

I've seen so many reviews where a man or woman just talks about what he or she can see: the ports, the keyboard, yada yada. The processor and the video chip are the most important parts.

Who says HP is no longer considered 'on the radar of most consumers'? I have a 2011 envy 15t with dedicated graphics, 12gb of ram, and a 1080p display. it costed $950 at the time, considerably less than the macbook and it still works like a dream. They make by far the best Windows Laptops in my opinion. But I'm genuinely curious. Where have you heard that HP is no longer 'on the radar'? All my friends have acknowledge HP as a great, reliable brand with excellent customer service.
