SA XCO Cup Round 5 & 6

On Thursday, the 13th of June we embarked on a journey that the African MTB Team often took many years back and still do for many other big marathon multi-day stage races.

Cascades, Pietermaritzburg has a lot of memories with us and we were fortunate to relive them as we made our way on the N3 route towards Durban.

After a successful weekend of racing, Philip Buys celebrated his first Fatherday with a 6th place finish on the second day after pulling out of the first with a shoulder injury. Pieter Du Toit also celebrated Youth Day with a 16th spot, improving by two after Saturdays 18th.
