Does The LUCK BUFF Update In Jujutsu Infinite ACTUALLY Work?

Today Jujutsu Infinite received a VERY important update regarding the games LUCK buff drop system.. However, I don't believe this luck buff is actually good.. So we will be TESTING to see if it actually works.. Myth busters style.

This games luck system needs a whole rework.. its actually pointless

this shitty luck system had people thinking it was genuinely bugged, this never happened to me before in a game where the luck system was actually this bad

To be 101% fair, a luck boost doesn't do much if you have, say, 43% luck ; it only divides your number to make it smaller by 1.43 (the smaller the number, the better, 3 and below is leg, 0.25 is special, etc . ) . Even with 43% luck, the number you would need to roll to get leg would be approximately 4.3 out of 100 (1/1.43 is approximately 0.699, 3/0.699 is approximately 4.3) . Therefore, doing more runs would be more effective than boosting luck to something like 43%. I do believe the luck system works ; the only thing is it isn't really effective .

The problem isn’t the luck system being bugged/broken
It’s that the luck system offers a minimal difference to no luck
Other games will usually give u like +10 luck and u get a lot of luck when you’re higher lvl meaning you actually get better stuff
This game doesnt offer a big difference of luck between lvl 1 and max lvl

The luck buff doesn’t even matter considering how buggy the random number dictates items. 100% luck for all rares? Please, make it have a 50% chance for legendaries, and divide it by 5 for each higher rank of items.
(100% for Rare, 50% for Legendary, 10% for Special Grade, 2% for Unique, this is because how are you realistically going to obtain 100% without abusing the fortune gourd or investigations?)

I already tested this and the things are kinda the same, before the buff I got way more legendaries and special grade drops using no luck, I farmed the ocean curse boss for one of his special grade drops and had to craft cause I didnt get ir from the chest even with like 70%-50% luck on 150% in some cases, but when I went to farm other bosses and investigations using no luck and got like 2 special grades in one investigation and there was no need to farm all the keys to craft the drops, happened in 2 separate investigations both in easy mode with no luck boost, and yeah if you have 100% luck after the buff you get rares or higher but I tried more than 100% luck 3 times in the same investigation and only got rares, no legendaries or special grades

It's honestly not a good thing that the devs are so unreliable, the majority of the community would rather gaslight themselves into thinking an update is fake.

Personally on the fence about this whole thing, I just refuse to believe that a developer could be *THAT* incompetent as to mess up something as simple as RNG modifiers, but at this point who knows

This luck buff does nothing it just guarantees no commons or uncommons with high enough luck which means prob just rares or with even higher all rares and nothing else luck doesn’t even help still speeding stuff with no luck is still better

Fun fact if you use a fortune gord and don’t open the chest you can keep the 2x ep it gives at the cost of not being able to open chest

I think what they actually did:

when you reach a certain threshold of luck it eliminates the chance of getting poorer items ie 100 luck you stop getting commons, increasing the chances of rates and so on however when your luck keeps increasing the ‘rares’ become the new commons

i can confirm that doing investigations without luck is absolutely the go to. The fact that i got lots of legendaries and some special grade without luck boost in my whole run is insane, they gotta do something with their luck system.
