Restoration of Buzz Lightyear from the Pixar Toy Story movies. I will repair this Space Ranger so he is suitable for 2024 and beyond and make him even more resistance to future challenges.

ABOUT BUZZ LIGHTYEAR FROM HELL
This is a humanmade apocalypse version of Buzz Lightyear. Bought from Sid Phillips Barn yard sale last year for 100$. ;-)

THE RESTORATION PROCESS
Buzz Lightyear was in very evil condition! I disassemble him into approx. 251 pieces. With many tiny parts, wires, screws, and plastic pieces. The legs alone contain over 50 parts and 40 screws, so this is a very advanced repair.

I sandblasted all the body parts with virgin Sodium Bicarbonate. I cleaned all the other parts.
I gave all the white plastic body parts a layer of metal paint to make Buzz more resistant in the future

I airbrushed all the parts in original Buzz Lightyear green, purple, black colors. And everything was painted four times with a gentle grinding in between.

And yes I custom build the awesome Cannon arm to give Buzz future protection in this mean world!

Once more Pixar Animation Studios supplied me the needed spare parts, stickers, a new upgraded head and the whole left arm. I even got myself a Buzz Lightyear PEZ. Thanks!

This was a lovely restoration for me to do. I really like all the Toy Story movies. I think they are brilliant and somehow encourage hope. Buzz Lightyear, Woody, REX the little aliens are some of my favorite characters in these movies. Thank You Pixar for a wonderful story and fantastic animations ❤

I love Buzz. My son still has his Buzz Lightyear figure from when the original Toy Story came out. There is no box but the doll is in immaculate condition. My son is 37 now, was 9 when he got him and will not part with Buzz lol. If he ever wanted to, I’d ask to have it lol.
This was an awesome lifesave. I’m sure Buzz is very grateful x
