Ah love these little things. Amazing what they managed to do with not a lot of space. Would be a great introduction to camper van life.

I used to drive a c15 van when i worked at citroen delivering parts, brilliant little vans, never drove the motor home version tho, brilliant video as usual 👌👌

I do like the C15, brilliant simple and no nonsense vehicle.
The vans were a proper tardis, so a perfect base for a wee camper and worth pointing out that you did get a version with a fixed higher roof and a (child sized) bunk over the cab.

I've always had a soft spot for these so thank you for putting one to the test. I actually quite fancy one now. Always liked vehicles that are a bit quirky compared to the norm.

Great video. I shudder to think of what HubNut would make of those bolt operated wipers…..!

Ex romahome owner here, Bedford rascal, demountable. The storm of 87 was a terror for someone we were giving a lift to 😂

I entered the retroshite competition to win this before seeing this video, and was looking up the Romahome to see what they’re like just incase I do actually win.. watched this whole video before realising it’s the actual vehicle that I could win 😅

Those were the days when Citroen made good cars that lasted. Sadly those days are well behind us… I just had to scrap a 6 year old 2018 Grand C4 that’s beyond repair, my first ever and the very last ever Citroen.

"Half a house on the back" fantastic comment

The exterior socket by the nearside door is almost certainly for the electric water pump for the sink.

Got a 54 plate c15 version for sale. Needs some TLC, parts and welding etc. Be a project for an enthusiast.

You need to watch antony valentine, camper nerd, dont ask my why i watch, i don't even camp. But he reviews and sells campers, does a few of these, think it has a lot more features than you think. They are surprisingly expensive too.

I have a self build Vivaro based camper which drives like a car, has a 1 second rock and roll bed and my question is "Why?" I lot of messing around for what?

Shout out to ex Tanfield Ltd employers in Horsham, West Sussex that used to sell these and the later Citroen AX based versions. I used to work at their Towabar And Trailer Centre in Essex and visited and saw these out on the forecourt back in the 90s.
