i just wanna say how happy i am to come across your video cause i've spent 5 hours trying to figure out how to set up commands and everything. im use to stream elements but i wanna switch it up and i love how you spent the extra time to break things down for us who don't understand coding or things like this. much love and positivity!

Absolute classic video! Very straightforward, no fluff, straight to the point, humor, wholesome. Very well done, Beardking! Respect.

The lack of views is actually criminal. Will spread the word about you the next time I have a social killing spree. Mini hiatus right now

Excellent video! Managed to combine 2 things you taught me, I successfully made a chat command called !died that plays an audio queue and keeps track of how many time I have died during this stream! :D Thanks for the fantastic guide, perfect explanations!<3

Thanks for your help, I made a Group in OBS and filled it with background and foreground gifs, the BG gifs at the bottom and FG ones at the top, then I used Streamer bot to add a !gif command, which hides every gif first, I had to enter every gif solo since there is a border, a background and some other things inside the group (so I couldn't just say hide whole group), then I created two folders in streamer bot, one with FG and one with BG, I rightclicked the folders and choose "random" thus one FG & BG gif gets choosen and activated, afterwards the gif window shows up (it's this order so that there is no flickering between an empty frame [Background] and the gifs), all gifs got a the smooth fade transition, it looks really good that way (since the background is black).
The Gifs are synthwave themed just like my whole setup (it looks like a windows os stylized in the synthwave style).

After watching this video, I extrapolated something that might be useful for you and other users. In the section about If/Else sub-actions starting at 25:30, my findings are that you can prevent the random user from being the person using the command by putting an If/Else sub-action saying that if the %randomUser0% equals %user% to do hug action then break just before the last step in the hug rando action. This starts the whole process over just to ensure the hugger doesn't have to hug themselves.

Hi BeardedInk, I really appreciate how precise you are in your guides. Once again, I look forward to your next video about how to manage Twitch ads with Streamer bot and how to customize countdowns in OBS. 😉

Also added "meow" as a command (since it's an emote) and whenever someones types it I hear a faint "meow" since I added it as source and turned on monitoring, just leaving some fun ideas

I did do one thing differently that might have some others who don't want to use random. I added one as "slap" and instead of the code you did to grab a random user, I set it up to "slapped themselves because they didn't pick anyone". I personally really don't want to pick at someone who's lurking.
