The Liberty City Preservation Project is now gone. It will never be forgotten!

World Travel has released the Liberty City Preservation Project (LCPP) in early access through their discord. This mod aims to bring not only the map, but many other things from GTA IV into GTA V. Unfortunately, now it's gone. Rockstar just couldn't let one mod through.

I was way more surprised that this lived for two weeks, instead of killing the mod off. I am very worried about the future of gaming, companies killing old games, killing digital bought games and killing mods, big companies killing off smaller companies, etc

The official torrent obviously can't be put back into the bottle, as long as there are seeders (currently 105 and 125 for the HD Textures version) so it's still working, and the wayback machine has the file from their official website indexed (Jan 5).

I've seen no one mention this, somehow.

I just don’t understand why rockstar games is not coming to an agreement on using this mod as an official update for GTA Online. Everyone would be happy and this could boost the amount of players up again which also means more money for rockstar. And this would be a good last update for the gta v online community, the players who kept playing the same game since 2013.

I dont know why modders even announce that they're working on stuff like these when we all know Rockstar is going to take it down. Work in secret and release when it's finished or almost finished.
