Mettaton is one of the few bosses in games where I can imagine the boss music actually playing in the in game world

is that when you listen to the ost it sounds like normal

but when you encounter METTATON EX in the actual game and the pitch corrected theme plays, it feels like the true theme

that's why the ingame theme feels special
