Just a tip on grooming ur dog ...if u don't mind...we have a husky and i brush him outside and let the fur blow in the wind...birds do pick it up for their nests..talk about recycling

For those who have not planned events for the public, it is a massive amount of work, often times, requiring months of planning. If you are not up to it, then don't do it. You also cannot do it alone.

Sometimes you need a pause in life. I remember being pregnant and could do all the things I use to volunteer for. Someone said, "There is a season in life for things and right now you are looking after yourself". That really brought comfort to me. Different seasons come and go. Hang it there.

Your bar events can fill the spot if locals are asking about the music or beer events.

Phil, the chateau is your personal and private home, you are not obligated to open it to the public at large. Take the year off and then see how you feel about it. At a later date, you might consider letting the grounds for a charity event, providing that the people hosting the event tend to all of the gorey details.
