Gripping A Baseball Bat Like A Pro

I'm just getting back into baseball, and I was confused about this myself because I never felt comfortable lining up my door, knocking knuckles. Thank you for the tips. I'm training by myself, so videos like this really help.

Until a week or so ago, I never thought about it. When I coached LL I never said a word about it. I cared about a balanced stance and keeping your head in.
I had to pick up a bat to see what I do. Indeed the knuckles are in between as recommended.

The top hand also depends on the diameter of the bat handle too. I always rollover when I go knocking knuckles to punching knuckles. I’m batting really well in Sunday league going knocking to knocking knuckles. This itself is new to me and I prefer it.

It never felt comfortable to me to line up either set of knuckles. My bottom hand is like his but my top hand has a loose grip which helps me throw the barrel through the zone.

I swing flat for line drives, never been an uppercut launch angle type of guy.

Always been a firm believer of base hits win ball games

Interesting…my 12-year-old used the box grip last year and batted just under .300. This year he started aligning his door knocking knuckles and so far in 14 games is batting .620. I guess if it works keep using it.
