Masato teaches Superbon Techniques to beat Thai Fighters

Masato Kobayashi (魔裟斗, Kobayashi Masato, born March 10, 1979) is a Japanese retired welterweight kickboxer. He was the ISKA World Welterweight Oriental Rules champion, as well as the winner of the K-1 WORLD MAX World tournament in 2003 and 2008. In addition, he was also the runner-up of the K-1 World MAX World tournament in 2004 and 2007.

Superbon is currently signed to ONE Championship and is the former ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion. He's fought the best names in the sport with his most famous win a head kick knock out over Giorgio Petrosyan. In this video Masato demonstrates a couple of techniques he's used to beat Thai Fighters in kickboxing!

I always regret that I wasn't into kickboxing as a kid when K1 was around. I'm glad that there seems to be a small resurgence in interest for the sport and that I get to be a part of that at least.
