----------LYRICS------------
I'm over it
You see I'm falling in the vast abyss
Clouded by memories of the past
At last, I see

I hear it fading, I can't speak it
Or else you will dig my grave
We fear them finding always whining
Take my hand now, be alive

You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you, feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone

I'm over it, why can't we be together
Erase it, sleeping so long
Taking up the mass, at last, I see

My fear is fading, I can't speak it
Or else you will dig my grave
You fear them finding always winding
Take my hand now, be alive

You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you, feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone

You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you, feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone

Everyone
Everyone
Everyone

Maybe it wasn't the best film in the world, it's still a guilty pleasure of mine. And when I hear this music and see these videos, something inside me awakens

There's a lot of rumors spreading through the internet about them hidden meaning in your lyrics that you're giving away vampire secrets

I got to see Jonathan Davis perform this song live on his solo tour with a full band playing the violin and everything it was fucking magical

For a teenage metal head, this album and Resident Evil's soundtrack was everything to me. I just played as Lestat (Bard) in a CoS Dungeons and Dragons campaign. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

The OST is practically the 60% percent of the success that has The Queen of the Damned

2002, age 32: in the last bouts of my Goth/Industrial phase. This music was life
2024, age 54: well into my "normal" phase. But this music still hits

I've searched all google trying to see the making of those Lestat videos but didn't find anything about. I think Stuart Townsend was great as a goth rocker vampire. His corporal expression is perfect and graceful and the videos are very well done

The feels of this song go sooo deep for me personally. Back in the days that i was 15 and renting the Queen of the damned dvd with a friend of mine and downloading this afterwards on Kazaa. Man...those were the days.

Just watched the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari last night. I've seen this video so many times and had no idea that the visuals and theme were inspired from that movie which is fantastic. Must watch. Stuart Townsend as Cesare was brilliant.

This fictional music video is so incredibly fascinating to watch because there are so many references to the mythos and lore of the Vampire Chronicles universe, chiefly through the inclusion of the child actress who is supposed to represent Lestat's remorse for having indirectly/and directly (depending on who you ask because The Brat Prince is of course an unreliable narrator in his own recollection of his life's story) caused Claudia's death and of course, the references to so many legendary films of the Silent Era and their visual design through the Germanic Expressionistic movement. I truly appreciated the rich intentional nods to highly influential pillars of gothic cinema; such as the likes of "The Cabinet of Dr. Calagari"; "Nosferatu", "A Fool There Was" "The Siren's Song"; and of course "The Avenging Conscience."

I was obsessed with the movie and soundtrack. I read all the books from anne rice since age 10 and all the movies plus I was a huge korn fan back in the day. This is one of my fav songs.

Was just watching Queen of the Damned the other night. Hands down, it has one of the best soundtracks, and the movie was amazing for its time
