This is a great stove! Use alcohol and if you use mail resupply you can send Esbit fuel tablets to use on the flat side. Here is a mod for those who have the old model with the small fill hole. The new ones have a big fill hole. Use a high speed cutting tool with the blade that is 1 inch or less and cut out a 1/3 inch square hole in the top, with 4 cuts. I wish I could share a picture. When you fill it it is good to have a measure, like the plastic cup from Nyquill type medicine or use a fuel container that is marked by ounces. Spill a few drops of alcohol on the side to get it to gassify and burn efficiently quickly.

Stove fully bloom in 8 (eight) minutes without warm up. You can reduce the time to 90 seconds by heating the bottom of the stove but in this case, additional fuel is necessary

I have Evernew alcohol stove with cross stand, would Vargo wind screen do its job around it?

The legs should have been built in a way so that they can be clicked in place at an incline inward angle as well as fully extended, so that smaller pots can be used as well. You could have built it so that the legs would click into place in those positions. As it is now, for the price I payed for this, I am not really happe, my 750ml TOAKS pot just fits barely. I am using it with the legs inclined inward because they are still form while new, but after some use I guess they will become looser and it will no longer work. That's 40 euros down the drain and looking for another titanium stove that DOES allow for smaller pots like the toaks 750. SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEARLY STATED with the product imo! I'm just finding this out now, AFTER purchase.

I have the TOAKS Titanium Pot 750 ml Cup. The circumference of my pot is big enough to go over the stove?

I really like this stove but it does NEED a windshield. Using a foil windshield and a titanium pot makes this stove really come alive. I have seen reviews where people describe the triad as weak and pathetic - they didn't use a windshield!
