In my installation I have PV on the AC side, a normal grid tied system using Enphase micro-inverters. This meter allows the multiplus to see the PV power exporting to the grid, and then charge the batteries based on excess available power. Without this meter, it wouldn't see the PV and I had to use a scheduled charge. This really makes the ESS work how it should!

The counter is really great. I ordered 10 pieces for several systems, only 5 of them were broken upon delivery - the plastic caps broke off. And these are broken even after moving them a few times. So it would be great if there were better ones.

I have a question about the wiring of the VM-3P75CT. According to the instructions, you should connect N + L1 with a switch or circuit breaker. But why not L2 + L3?

how much faster is the performance of ramp up/down of the inverters over the modbus et112 meters?

Maximum current it can handle per phase? the CT's don't look very big.

I am using the current-transformer for the Multiplus 2. Will the VM-3P75CT energiemeter give faster readings then the current transformer?

I’m confused. Doesn’t the victron inverters already have this built into the inverter. I know they can already use external Cts that monitor the homes mains to allow the inverter to operate like a grid tie zero export inverter,

Is the ethernet connection becoming the standard communication solution between all of Victron components? It would have made the cabling solution a lot easier and "idiot proof" 😉

Interesting unit, it would be interesting to find out what accuracy in power measurement, would the unit be able to measure Phase, & all other parameters that say an energy meter wound be capable of? It would be I feel it it had either a Bluetooth or WiFi module built into the unit for direct communication, as a UKAS Laboratory test engineer, retired what is the accuracy of the unit & it's CTs ? would the accuracy be under ideal phase conditions of unity 0.95 to 1.0 or would the unit be capable of displaying the power of systems with less than ideal phase relationships between voltage & current?
