Humminbird HELIX How To: Demonstration Mode

This video explains the Demonstration mode which is a feature within the Setup Menu on your Humminbird HELIX. The demonstration mode, which is meant for demonstration at a retailer. It is not the same as your HELIX's onboard simulator because it does not save any settings changed during demo mode.

Thank you! This helped me realize that Simulation and Demo mode are different things on my Onix. I received a warning that I would lose all my settings when I tried to turn the Simulation on. Demo was already on! When I turned Demo off, and turned on Simulator, it came on w/o such a warning.

How long can i keep my helix 9 in simulation mode? Will it eventually over heat ir somthing?

So I just installed my new helix 7 gen 4 and it does not play demo mode, even when it it says visible in the menu

This is a great tip! To be clear, when is says 'Demonstration Mode' and 'Off' is visible that means the demo mode is off correct?

Update to my previous comment. This did not work for me. Settings that I set up in Simulator did not transfer to my normal setup. Not sure if that was user error or product not working as designed.
