I realize some people genuinely feel so sick and truly do need to rest during their period so I feel really lucky and grateful I am still able to workout like that’s what I need to think about when my abs are about to explode during my exercise 😭😭😭

For a long time i thought I need to do long workouts ( like 1h ) to get a good shape but now i'm doing Workouts for like 25 min and i'm really happy with my body.

Yoga isn't a real workout.😂 bless those people who said this😂 I enrolled a yoga class and have been practising for 2 months now. I know the struggle. It is not just makes your body fit but your mind too. I'm more focussed now and my overthinking is gone. I can see the difference in just 2 months.❤

You CAN work out during your period, but it takes special strength to keep doing crunches while you have terrible cramps. Shout out to any girlies who fight through the pain! ❤

what I’ve learned over the past month is that ;

#1 : no matter how HEALTHY you eat. It’s about the calories (no I’m not saying starve yourself.) am average person burns about 2000 calories per day walking around, sitting and stuff. It varies per person. But if you eat over 2000 calories in a day, you will not lose weight and just an example of how fast you don’t realize calories add up.. a McDonald’s cheeseburger is 450 calories. Already a quarter of your days consumption gone. Now imagine someone eating 6x that in a day. (Average). That’s over 3000 calories..

#2 : eat healthy. You don’t have to lose weight. But get some greens and foods that help you in your diet, it makes you feel better. Remember : not just about the weight you lose, it’s about how you feel. People saying you look good isn’t better than being able to sit around and not be able to go on long hikes with friends because you aren’t fit!

When I'm on my period, my body needs rest. So I'll do small workouts but if i can't, I'll stretch or just go for a nice, small walk.

Fitness isnt everything, live your life. ❤

Omg this! I workout at home and I always kind of want a gym membership but I have acquired equipment over the years and I enjoy that my gym with my personal dressing room in included in my rent lol.

I’m on my period (second day actually and I have really bad cramps and fatigue) but I still worked out because it made me feel refreshed. So it’s true, you can work out as intense as you want on your period as long as you’re comfortable:)
