For anyone's wondering, this is the only adventure game that received a 40/40 perfect famitsu score in the past 20 years or so

I would highly recommend 428: Shibuya Scramble to visual novel fans. In Japan, it's regarded as one of the best visual novels. A decade ago, Famitsu (back when it used to actually be a respected publication) gave the Wii version a perfect 40/40 score. And it's one of the most ambitious examples of choices & consequences, with over a hundred possible story pathways and up to 87 different endings. There was also a similar Sega Saturn game called Machi, which Famitsu readers voted one of the top 10 greatest games of all time, but it's never been localized.

I imported this from Japan on ps3 and even though I had no idea what was going on I have still enjoyed it. Looking forward to actually being able to read what was going on this time round haha
