The fact that The Beatles (and Abbey Road) were still the best act around in 1969 against so many heavyweight contenders speaks volumes.

It's amazing King Crimson, Led Zep, The Stones, The Beatles and The Who coexisted in that year dropping masterpieces.

I would have picked Green River for the 1969 CCR album (still crazy to think they managed to make and release 3 studio albums in a single year).

Respect for putting King Crimson at #2, incredible record, I love the incongruity between the songs, aside from Epitaph and the title track all the songs sound pretty different and i really enjoy that dynamic, keeps it fresh and exciting
