Inquiry into Australia’s handling of COVID pandemic to be announced soon

Sky News host Chris Kenny reveals the Albanese government will soon announce an inquiry into Australia’s COVID-19 pandemic response.

Mr Kenny said it could be announced when parliament sits next week and he understands it would report by the middle of next year.

“What we need to know is whether it will cover the states, as well as the federal government, and whether it will have full royal commission powers,” he said.

“All the Health Minister's office would say is that the government is committed to holding an inquiry.”

The only beneficiaries from an inquiry will be the lawyers. No practicing Australian medical personnel would dare criticize what was done, else they be deregistered or sacked. The only 'experts' who will give evidence are the same hopeless lot who got Australian into the mess in the first place. They will just brag how well things were done.
While there are indisputable experts who were critical, virtually are overseas crew who are highly unlikely to travel to Australia for an 'inquiry'.
