High Court Clarification: Qadianis are non-Muslims | Talk 360 | @Shaoorpk

In an important decision dated June 20, 2024, Mr. Justice Viqas Rauf delivered an order that includes significant observations. According to the order, the Qadiani group, Lahori group, or those who identify themselves as Ahmadi or Bahai, are not considered Muslim sects under the second amendment of the 1973 constitution and are therefore outside the realm of Islam.

This decision by the honorable court has addressed all our concerns and objections, for which we are immensely grateful. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the honorable court, Justice Mirza Viqas Rauf, esteemed scholars, lawyers, intellectuals, journalists, religious organizations, and their leaders.

It is crucial to remember that even the smallest mistakes by elders can have significant impacts. The concept of the Khatam e Nabuwat (end of Prophethood) is a fundamental tenet for Muslims, and any negligence in this matter is intolerable. It is the essence of our faith. Hence, it is natural to become emotional on such occasions. My criticism, along with that of other scholars and the people of Pakistan, was directed at the errors in the decision, not at Mr. Justice Mirza Viqas Rauf personally. When he did not let his ego become an obstacle and accepted the truth, we salute him on behalf of ourselves, all scholars, and the people of Pakistan. If any of my statements or those of others inadvertently caused him harm, I apologize on behalf of all.

Furthermore, I forgive those who spread negative and misleading propaganda against me and our message, distorting our intentions. Forgiveness is the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), whose life and teachings continue to be our guiding light.
