US campus protests on the ‘wrong side of history’

Israeli author and activist Noa Tishby says pro-Palestinian demonstrations across US campuses are on “the wrong side of history”.

Pro-Palestinian protesters are still in full voice in the United States as clashes continue with police at college campuses.

“Some of these kids think they are doing the right thing for humanity but they are not,” Ms Tishby said.

“These demonstrations are not peaceful; they are not grassroots, they are very well organised.

“They are just not true, they are on the wrong side of history here.”

t appears there are some unpleasant things happening in Palestine and the locals, plus some visitors, are suffering. It would be a useful, meaningful and practical help if these protesters went there and developed some farms and grew some edible crops and livestock. Others could build nice homes, some schools, income-generating and job-creating factories, road infrastructure, hospitals, offices with the latest technology, and shopping centres along with a few sport and recreation facilities. Instead of complaining about the situation, why not do something pro-active and constructive?
