busy part of pre-season now, trying to finalize those few spots on the draft is going to be interesting with the different options available.

I got burned badly last year going big at the back, can only see that being the same this year. Having 4.5 defenders that rotate with each other makes the haaland/salah draft really viable. The problem with only having 1 or the other is capt choice each wk

Anyone else feeling good about Hudson-Odoi, Gordon and Eze in midfield? Man Utd losing 3-0 to Liverpool without Van Dijk, Trent, Robertson, L.Diaz, Darwin, Gakpo, Szoboszlai starting and 65min of Salah amd Jota, has made myself want to purchase a LIV midfielder for sure. It seems likely they will be favoured to win in gw 3 after playing Ipswich and Brentford.

Be careful with this team
Henderson could start as the Number 1 keeper for Palace to start the season however it could change a couple of games in we just don't know
Porro is a great attacking option however say Van De Ven gets injured again so does Udogie and Romero gets a red card suddenly that defence starts conceeding a tonne and with the new bonus points system you'll be very harshly penalized
Romero always loves a dirty tackle remember that
Quansah not nailed on Konate and Van Dijk will probably be the starting Center Backs for Liverpool
Also Kulusevski is a massive risk
Sure he is starting as the striker now for Spurs however Spurs are heavily linked to the likes of Dominic Solanke and Ivan Toney and Ange has said that they are really eager to sign a striker this window so just something to keep an eye on there
If they sign a striker then Kulu most likely gets benched
Rest of the team looks solid tho!

Hudson Odoi is worth the price, question really is whether there's multiple goal involvements in the first three matches. Id be happy with 15 pts in across those three fixtures, its close to 45% likelihood imo.

I have gotten fpl predicted points 56 with both haaland and salah. Its do-able. Just remove the spurs asset and get trent in. That oredicted points rivals almost all your drafts except for no premium ehich lets face i dont think many will end up on or risk facing early inevitable wildcard.

I think ppl are really overselling the rolling up to five transfers thing. I have been playing for 10 seasons and can honestly say the number of times I have had two free transfers and wanted to do nothing with them happens say, 2 or 3 times a season max. So on those couple of occasions I will role, but the probability of then going into a third week and having no transfers to make is so low. And I’m a boring/conservative manager.I really don’t think it is going to make much difference to how ppl play.

If Sels starts for Nottingham Forest, people should be concerned if they own Aina or Murrilo because CS odds drop. Sels underperformed so badly last season.
