I’m in portage MI (south west mi) and I just came out of my closet after the sirens went off 30mins ago. We have a watch till 3pm. We were hit on may 7 by a tornado. It damaged much of my home town. I was in my closet when it went over me.

My daughter has a tornado watch in Dundee Michigan, she never hears sirens from inside her house… so I’m constantly watching her weather like a hawk.
(Plus she’s 9 months pregnant and has 2 little ones that keep her distracted from the weather lol)

I'm just outside Charleston. So far the rain hasn't been that bad. Just been like a normal rain storm and a little lightning. We'll see how today pans out. The only road closures I've seen are near the coastlines.
