Im glad we are not the only ones who have the dissapearing ruler problem. 😂 What a great idea the elementary dictionary was; I probably shoukd have gotten one sooner as well.

I recommend the Ticonderoga tri-write pencils for the twins. Really helps with handwriting.

I have no idea what happens to all the construction paper in our house 😂 I would love to her what you are doing for the first day for food. I need some special ideas. So far I just get new cute paper plates like you would use for a bday party but are school or art themed.

My now 6th grader uses that student planner. She used it for the first time in 5th grade, and it worked so well that we bought a new one for this year. I put my daughter's school subjects with assignments in them one day at a time. She loves knowing what she has to do for the day, and then getting started on her work independently. 😀

Clipboards are useful for us because we sit on the couch or floor often. Unless it's formal handwriting practice.

Our Ticonderoga pencils we began with on day one last year are still going strong I just need eraser toppers and we’re good to go for many more months of use! That’s literally the only school supply I can think of that we actually need to get lol. We still have plenty of supplies from last year so it’s nice to not have to buy much.

I think we went through 5 rulers last year 🤦‍♀️ this time around I bought way too many 😂

That marble art kit is definitely not for read aloud time…definitely needs parent help. The suspension in mine had to be started 24 hours before the actual art time. It is cool to do.

How do you keep your kids individual art supplies or special pens safe? Its a constant battle here with little ones! Great haul!
