The bigger question is can that Sideshow sculpt get a better paint job to reveal the sculpt that's actually there? You can give that Sideshow sculpt a sinister expression and close up that stare by lowering the upper eye lids. Plus Beetlejuice doesn't just have black circles around his eyes. There should be allot of transition from the skin to the lower eyelids with a paint wash like what was done on your custom head sculpt. Same scenario around the upper eyelids as well. Yeah... lets not kill the Sideshow sculpt just yet because I think it is salvageable. Can it beat your custom? Not a chance, because the sculpt on that one really nailed his mouth properly. But I DO think the Sideshow can be redeemed. It never should have gone out in its current form though. They need to have done several more rounds figuring out the proper paint apps the factory could duplicate. I would like to see the original prototype and see if the factory was even faithful to what that looked like. I don't like to place blame on artists unless its just really a big miss from scratch. Factories do mess these up.

Justin, this idea of yours is GENIUS: when the custom piece is just a small part (like e cape or even being the headsculpt) you could merge the BAF with the review (as long as you haven’t reviewed it yet).
For longer projects, do a proper full BAF episode!

I love build a figure episodes, but yeah I do think saving individual episodes for big projects is a good idea. I really enjoyed the recent Patch and Cavillrine episode!
