Ninja Strategy Generator allows you to make changes to the PARAMETERS record that exports from NinjaTrader.

Our program accepts the export data from NinjaTrader and allows you to change values in your PARAMETERS records quickly and accurately.

Ninja Strategy Generator allows you to change specific fields in the PARAMETERS record.

Change A Single Value – Change a single field value on every strategy / record in the database.

Change A Single Record – Take a single strategy / record and create multiple variations of that record

Change Multiple Records – Create multiple variations of every strategy / record in the database.

Custom – Special setup that allows replacing one field with the values of another field in all the strategies / records in the database.

Parameters Field - The PARAMETERS field holds all the values related to your strategy / record.

We are looking at the export of the PARAMETERS field in a spreadsheet.

These same values are imported back into the NinjaTrader XML file.

Change A Single Value – Change a single field value on every strategy / record in the database.
In this case – we wanted to change the Data Period to five (5) for all the strategies / records in the database.

All the changes are made to the same document.

Change A Single Record – Take a single record and create multiple variations of that strategy / record
In this case – we want to generate new strategies based a single record (tttgc10410) using different profit targets of 1, 2 and 3. Three (3) new records are created.

Change Multiple Records – Create multiple variations of every strategy / record in the database.
In this case – we are going to take the all the strategy / records and make a single change to each strategy /record.

We are going to keep the values in all the strageies and generate five (5) new records using a different profit target. If we have fifty (50) records – this will generate 250 new strategies / records to test.

Custom – Special setup that allows replacing one field with the values of another field.

In this case – we created a special custom copy and replace values for our own testing and trading. We run testing on a specifc set of values and determine the optimum time we want to be in the trade. If out trade has not hit the profit target or been stopped out then this varaible tells us the optimum amount of time to hold the trade. Consider this another exit point.

There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
