Hey bill, I have 5 of those type of led lights and I also used that app to help set up my grow area...I was browsing ebay and found a light meter for a reasonable price so I purchased one, just to see if the app was accurate. Maybe it was my phone but I found the app to be misleading, I purchased my light meter for under 20 dollars.

Had one that lasted 5 hours then there was a popping noise and the leds just sort of dimmly glowed and it was extremely hot. Waiting ebay to refund me

I wouldn't tryst the app I tried it out and even my normal led house light bulb registers 7611 foot candles so likely the app is wrong

Thesd are extremely good and EXTREMELY CHEAP my friend have model which is in us dollars about 500$ (3.5x3.5 flower coverage) which is very very cheap for the quality of the mars hydro? Wth people talking about? "Pricey " BullSh**! go look at spectrum king etc which would be like 2grand (2000$+-) thanks for the info but everything makes mistakes so i see tou were new on led i guess but yeah good video.
