In the PNW, many school's marching shows are written by a guy named Zimbleman. He uses I+ chords to such an extent that my marching band director calls it the "Zimbleman chord". The last bit of this video gave me marching band vibes because of that!

One chord I’ve been playing around with is essentially an Am6/Bb+ chord, or alternately a Bb+maj11 chord (I typically arranged it by playing a Bb3, D4, F#4, A4, C5, E5, and F#5 notes). I never really played around with a resolution very much, but I think a Gmaj9 in first inversion would work (I had it voiced as a B3, D4, G4, A4, B4, D5, and F#5)
