A very nice composition by Duke Pearson, one of the precursors of soul jazz.
Emmet Cohen, immersed in the exploitation of the heritage is a solid and brilliant guardian of the temple.

Emmet just totally kills this solo as always, so inventive, such joyful energy. There has never been a player quite like him.

Bruce Harris played hell of a solo. 6:14 great phrase

Love this song. My sisters name is Jeannine. Same spelling. French? It’s rare in America where it’s usually Jeanine or Janine. This is a killing and swinging version by far. Thanks for sharing! Big thumbs up!

One of my favorite tunes ever....The Donald Byrd/Pepper Adams version from Live at the Half Note is awesome, and I love Cannonball/Nat Adderly version too, which I think may also be live

Who's the drummer? All very talented... The drummer is jubilant and demands your ear with his snare. Love it!!

Great, great great ... especially this time. Emmet, could you please describe me the exact data of those great cymbals Evan Sherman is using in that Video? I assume that there are YOURS, because for example the one to the drummers RIGHT side i am used to see in many of your videos, in those with Joe Farnsworth i think to see that very same? Especially that one has a beautiful sound. Maybe its Your own and stays at the drums in your flat? Please : Brand (Paiste i am shure almost) but what kind of series (Formula 602?) and What MODEL (for ex. medium ride or medium etc...) and SIZE ? The left side ride aounds beautiful too ....- thanks . The interplay on that tune ... All are playing everything that I like to listen. THANKS 4 all your Videos. Dont miss to come to Vienna @ club "Jazzland" someday ! Ask Benny Golson, it was "family home" for him.

Another fantastic rendition of Jeannine. Man, the drummer is so "tasty". He listens and swings, swings, swings.
