Crazy Horse or in the Lakota language: “Ta-sunko-witko”, was a great Lakota war leader of the Oglala band in the 19th century who took up arms against the United States federal government to fight against encroachment by white American settlers on Native American territory and to preserve the traditional way of life of the Lakota people making him a legend of the wild west.

Crazy horse was a great warrior. He tried in vain to fight for there rights and his people. Like I said a true great warrior. Rest in peace.

Yes his father was the original Crazy Horse but gave Curly HIS name when he saw his son was on a path to greatness. His father then took a different name.

Wha ho ka hay.
It's a good day to die.
The army would hear the Lakota war cry and shiver. They knew they were in a fight.

That is not a photo of Crazy Horse. There are no known proven photos of him. (Documented photos)

One of my favorite ski runs at Grand Targhee ski resort in Jackson is called “Crazy Horse”. Cool to learn about the legend himself!

The "too loud" music is unnecessary and distracting from the narration. Please lower the volume for better understanding. Thank you.

What a terrible demise for such a great Worrier and Spiritual Leader. I have been reading about some of his visions that now in my opinion are Prophecies. They are unfolding and our future does not look good if he is correct. Good episode. 👏👏

What a legend . As a white American, I am much more inspired by crazy horse than any other American military figure.

Background music distracts from the story. I'd love to hear the narrator tell this most important story.

What a guy! He was the enemy but we love him anyway because he was a man among men and a warrior among warriors. He was also rightous when many of us were not. I love him. I always will. I would fight for him too but that chance is over : (
