Your Hoya is in a good shape, I think you are lucky with that one. It is very rare plant and best way is to get leaf cutting like yours. Your cutting has roots already. Just need to let it sit.
First it will take a season, before new growth. And they only grow in summer. And about 5 leafs per summer.
Let it sit, because its a cutting it first will grow a root system so plant will look like its frozen in time. Just be patient. Mine was frozen for 2 years before it grew a plant, and I only got one heart leaf. Your lucky.

Oh no.. So sorry your plants arrived a bit rough. A tip for your watermelon peperomias is to propagate the damaged leaves =) It's very easy to do. As far as your hoya. Make sure the stem is completely dry so it doesn't rot. Some people seal it with waterproof glue. It works! I've tried it. Then you pot it and don't give it water for three weeks. I love the color of your variegated hoya. Best of luck =)

There are 2 ways that I usually root Hoyas. One is mix up some of my regular potting mix with a little perlite and moisten it. Put in the bottom of a gallon size zip-loc type baggie. Set it down somewhere it can get bright light and not be disturbed, and put the cutting into the soil trying to keep the leaves off the sides of the bag, inflate and zip it up! The other way is almost the same except that I put the mix in a small pot, insert cutting then put a5baggie that has been turned inside out (this holds it away from the plant) over the pot sitting pot on the edges so there's some airflow but moisture is still being held in some. This way has to be rewatered after a while.

ahhhh 3 weeks is a nightmare. I wonder if you can contact the seller and tell them you weren't satisfied with it. But on a side note, the new Hoya you got is BEAUTIFUL!! Where did you get it from?

Thats why I dont try buying online. I would love some hoyas but the prices plus shipping and you end up with babies like the ones you received. That is such a shame. I know there are good sellers out there its the few that just see $$$ and really dont care that ruin it for everyone.
