She was very sick and getting sicker every day. She was also living in Hawaii. A Google search led Tammy to University Transplant Center, South Texas' only living donor liver transplantation center. And her doctor agreed it was time to transfer her care to San Antonio. She moved to Austin to live with Miranda – and hoped for a miracle.
