I think Apashe's genius is underrated, especially to the casual ear. Think about the pace this all sets. He starts with Tchaikovsky Symphony No.4, 4th movement while his lead, played by himself, says everything is going as normal. Then when things are no longer "normal" the song changes to add modern edm/trap/hip hop. Then once things get really Russian to the point of being a meme hard bass, a style strongly associated with Russia, kicks in.
