Was this made with store bought or homemade pie dough?

I tried this with the wrong kind of ice cube tray. All my dough got stuck in the tray when I flipped it over. I had to use a knife to pry it out and it all fell apart. It looked pretty bad, but was a great tasting torte instead of pretty apple puffs.
