President Biden presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, soccer star Megan Rapinoe, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and others on Thursday. The late Sen. John McCain and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs also received the award posthumously. Actor Denzel Washington, one of the recipients, couldn't be there Thursday, but Mr. Biden said he will give Washington the award at a later date.
