The flowers that are being sold today are not the same lotus that was used back then. The ones currently available are a cousin of the ancient ones. Those flowers were actually harvested to extinction. We know what it was like because of written records but the lotuses from ancient times were significantly stronger than anything that you can get today.

DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY SEIZURES OR THE WIRING FOR THOSE ISSUES…. I had 2 months of seizures from stress and trauma (literally what the doctors said) about 2 years ago, I had some blue lotus in smoking a few months ago and it sent me into partial seizures for like a day and a half, it was awful. Pls know your brain and body before consuming anything natural or not, and do lots of research on every facet of the herb, try to cover EVERYTHING before ingesting. 2 weeks is too long for white wine to sit after being opened, especially at room temp. If you're trying this, I'd do it in the coldest part of your fridge so the wine doesn't go bad.

That variety of flower is extinct and you can check in all the scientific papers that are around the discovery, the most similar effect that you can get it’s actually not from an other lotus flower, it’s from ginkgo biloba

You should infuse it separately then add it to your wine. You cant just leave an open bottle of wine for that long...

They actually don't know the exact reason why the Egyptians used blue lotus. People think it might have been for the sweet scent of the flower that the Egyptians really enjoyed.

I love the lotus flower. But inlove that bottle even more. As someone who makes infused drinks the struggle getting herbs and flavoring in and out of bottles is real.

I'm severely allergic to wine and intolerant to any alcohol (even a few drops). Could I do a glycerite tincture and get the same effects? 💛
