Is Netflix Beating Apple Arcade at its Own Game?

On May 4th, Apple suddenly dropped 16 games onto its subscription-based Apple Arcade service. While this might sound like great news for Apple Arcade users, there's another way to look at it: Apple is starting to get nervous.

Why? Because of a streaming service called Netflix.

Apple Arcade basically stopped caring (and investing) after the release of Fantasian. Netflix is the big player now in terms of quality gaming. Apple lazily relies on a few great + titles.

Great video! I absolutely agree. I haven't played much of Arcade since I'm an android user. But I tried the play pass and I was never attracted to it. I've subscribed to Netflix just for the games and there's such a good library! I love the console games ported to mobile.

Apple dropping 16 titles at the same time has had to be in planning for months to be achieved and making it a thing about panic because Apple fears Netflix seems far fetched at least to me.

Let Xbox come to mobile then Apple One would be destroyed. Apple's practice of keeping things exclusive to its platform might have worked for 10 years ago but now a days it's all cross platform. Even Xbox games are being released on PS now

Netflix has my favourite games port on mobile Tmnt Shredder Revenge, Raji. Subscription model I don't like but it is better than pay to win games. Still I always prefer paid games. Unfortunately TMNT will never be available on mobile for purchase😢 shame.

Apple TV and Arcade should both be under one subscription, tbh Apple TV should be free with the arcade, Apple TV is honestly pretty pathetic in the amount of content.

Like me I’d use Apple product so that mean I have a lot of their paid services and I also have Netflix account for quite some times now so I guess in my scenario it a win, win situation for me.
