Personally, I don't think that it's wrong that Darrell had a legitimate crush on Becky. He actually liked Becky's personality and her little quirks. He clearly wanted to get to know her more and see where their relationship would head. Most importantly, he clearly did not have a problem that she has Down syndrome, and actually took time to do some research on it. I really don't understand why they think it was wrong for Darrell, and Artie at one point to date Becky.

This is one of those rare scenes in Glee where they are actually trying to send a legitimate message to the audience.

Darrell is so right about what he has said and he took his time about to say and how to say it and I'm so with what he has said and that's what we disabled people want really

I still think that Sue is the only one doing this because she actually cares about Becky and doesn't want her to be used - the others think it's weird because they're biased but Sue is worried that he thinks that Becky will be so desperate for someone to love her that she'll give him all her money to keep him around her.

I truly wish that Becky and Darrell's relationship had more meat to it, it would have been an amazing storyline and just as educative as Brittana and Klaine have taught us, and Bieste's transition from woman to man. They missed a great opportunity to teach, though I admit, I did learn something from the way Darrell low-key shaded Quinn, Roz, Sue and Tina about the fear they had of his being with Becky.
