FairTalk Rally celebrating US Court of Appeals 7th Circuit Ruling

Bloomington Indiana rally on September 4, 2014 celebrating the ruling from the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals affirming the freedom to marry in Wisconsin and Indiana, upholding lower court rulings in Indiana's consolidated trio of marriage cases (Baskin v. Zoeller, Lee v. Pence and Midori Fujii v. State of Indiana).

On October 6, the United States Supreme Court denied review of these cases, meaning that same-sex couples will have the freedom to marry in Indiana. Indiana’s Republican Attorney General Greg Zoeller issued a statement declaring that county clerks would be required by federal court order to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
